 Islamabad: Pakistan Army increased its defence capability and launched the modern Al-Khalid tank. The Al-Khalid tank, named after the great warrior and commander of Islamic Army Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (R.A), is a joint program of China and Pakistan.

This is the evolution of tanks of Soviet Union and China with inclusion of latest technology. It is tested by different armies and is far better than any European technology. It strengthens the defence of Pakistan and India fears from this inclusion. The recent scenario of internal security and political instability of Pakistan isn’t good at all and the bilateral relationship with neighbor countries India and Afghanistan is getting intense day by day. The recent invasion on the eastern borders by Indian Army has enforced Pakistan to launch Al-Khalid to show its strength and capability to defend its territory more effectively.

India, who never accepted the formation of Pakistan, fears from Pakistan’s modern but lethal weapons and the inclusion of MBT-2000 Al-Khalid forced India to stop invasion on eastern borders. And currently Pakistan is facing serious threats from various terrorists groups which are being supported and funded by India, America, UK and Israel. After the incident of 9/11 thousands of soldiers, policemen and common citizen of have lost their lives during war against terrorism which is being fought within the territory of Pakistan. The economy of the country has been damaged badly and still going downwards. In this critical scenario, tension with India on borders is quite dangerous and it may cause disaster for both countries. Pakistan is blaming India on supporting various terrorists groups working in Pakistan especially in Fata and Baluchistan. With authentic proofs of Indian interference in the internal matters, Pakistan is trying hard to prove its point of view to international community and appealed to take serious actions against India. But it seems like international community is backing India to destabilize Pakistan and this attitude is disturbing the bilateral relationship which may cause a big war between two nuclear powers. And if it happens, there will be greater level of risk that the world peace will loose its existence and there will be chaos everywhere.
